looks like a great way to get your femoral artery cut to me. Or at the least take a stab in the groin.


I'd think that immediately trying to roll to the mount and immobilze the arm maybe even a keylock would be a much high chance of success.

It's a bad situation no matter how you play it though.

Yeah, first of all it doesnt cover the how and why...he is flat on his back dealing with an opponent he knew to be armed Second If shit happened and i found myself in this position i would be more likely to thrust my right arm under his right arm (pushing it up and away from his weapon and me) as i scooted my body out to the left (under his right arm) so my left hand could be used to take the blade and either throw it away or use it to convince him to get the hell off me or try what xf suggested, ANYTHING but the technique advocated by hock...i love the part where he says next lesson he covers what to do if this fails.... i think xf covered what happens next already....i guess he is going to teach proper ettiquette for bleeding to death next lesson

I really like the part where he claims putting someone in your gaurd will cause 'reddening in the face and visible discomfort'.
