I haven't even mentioned illegal dog fights, idiot. I'm talking about a breed (any dangerous breed for that matter) being an inappropriate and irresponsible choice for a pet.

If the owners were oh-so-loving they wouldn't contribute to situations where the dog ends up getting put down.

i know this girl who has 2 pet pits. she got them cause she thought they were cute and didnt bother to train ithem or anything. the dogs think ithey are in charge, dont listen to her, do whatever they want, chew on everything, and get reallly hyper and excited easily. this has disaster written all over it

Right, so if these breeds are so horribly dangerous than why is it that with all the dogs our there only about two dozen people each year are killed by any breed? The fact is more people drown in bath tubs each year than are killed by dogs. Do you piss your pants at the site of a bath tub too or is it just dogs that make you incontinent? In all honesty I don't think you actually care about pit bulls, I think your just trying to wind me up and cause drama. STFU and go f@!k yourself, but before you do clean the sand out of your vagina, we wouldn't want the precious princess chafing

How many killings (of both humans and dogs) are enough for you, jackass? What's a few dead children here and there as long as you can pretend you're a tough guy, right? If as many as two dozen people a year were killed by sharks it would be front page news every day! You're an idiot. People like you are the worst thing that could happen to dogs or humans. **** off.

If I ever feel effeminate and want to reinstate my machoism I might get a dog like a pitbull or something right. Until then those dogs are stupid innit.

So tell me, where do bath tubs come in on your list of things that are too dangerous to own? How many people have to drown in them before we should do something about it? Should we ban baseball next? After all people get hit with baseball bats all the time. Using your shit for brains logic controling either of those things would take priority over any breed of dog.

jubaji, you are one opionated asshole... just because havin a Pit isn't right for you doesn't mean that's the case for everybody..

I still truly believe it's all how the dog was raised, just this weekend there was this Rottweiler at the bar unleashed, nothing dangerous about it..

So, which is it then?

Either: PIT BULLS are good guard dogs because they are aggressive and scary

OR: PIT BULLS are just like any other dog it's all in the way they are treated.

either it's option one, and everything Jubaji is saying is right, or its option two and you could just get a St. Bernard or a lab or something - but that isn't what we're talking about because...

The people who own Pits know damn well they are an aggresive breed, that's exactly why they own them. That's why they put them on ten-foot chains for life, and buy choke chains with which to walk them.
To say that you have a Pit for guarding the home, but Pits aren't aggressive is no different than painting your house blue and saying it's green.

While I'm on about it, if I were a dog and my owner put me on a chain in the front yard, I'd get mean, too. What kind of a shitty life are you giving a dog when you don't even own it yet and already you're planning what kind of chain to stake it too? How can you possibly take good care of a dog that you can never completly trust to run free - anywhere - ever?

Christ, there are plenty of big, scary sounding, perfectly nice dogs FOR FREE right down at your local pound who want nothing more than to get out of thier plastic cages and go for a run with you and wrestle with your kids someday (something else you will never let your pit do).
But hey, that's just me.

Have you even read the posts here? I mean all of them, not just the illogical doggerel from Shitforbrains Lu.

Pit bulls have a number of attributes that make them excellent guard dogs; that doesn't mean the breed is inherently malignant or that they don't make wonderful pets for the people that take care of them properly. Any dog that is mistreated is going to have problems.

Wow, you get really worked up when you get caught bullshitting. For the record I haven't written any doggerel lately; doggerel rhymes and my posts do not. Also, if you want to be clever you'll have to come up with your own insults; I called your logic shit for brains just a couple posts ago- try a little harder ass hat. Finally, if you want to be taken seriously you'll have to come up with a valid point, as it is you're just acting like a hysterical dip shit. My bath tub is statistically more dangerous than a pit bull, I guess I'm a selfish cold hearted bastard because I just don't care that some poor soul might some day drown in it

Of the two of us, I'm the only one to provide evidence that supports my position. You have done nothing but demonstrate a total failure of logic.
