Nice link Jubaji it basically summed up my entire posting in this thread about breeders and the ghetto craze, too bad your bias wont let you see anything but your media based opinion. This dog June was a RESCUED pit that would have been euthanized for no reason other than ignorant people like yourself repeat anything they see or read. Your reply makes no sense, nor does it address the THOUSANDS of everyday people who own pitbulls, nor does it talk about the people who work with dogs everyday and are making an effort to counter this flood of media hype about pitbulls.
Dozens of pitbull readoption centers that scrutinize these dogs for temperment, and attempt to find a suitable home for them. These people must all be egomaniacs according to your logic or lack thereof. Animal care proffessionals who VOLUNTEER time and money to show the true side of this breed.
People who have worked with animals their entire lives and are deeply distressed that fearmongering, media mis-educated people would have all these great dogs destroyed. Your thinking falls right in line with the PETA stance on pitbulls, nice to see you have some like minded fanatical individuals to rave about pitbulls ferocity with Jubaji.

I am done with this thread, my point has been made, my opinion is shared by quite a few proffesional people who have worked with these dogs for decades. Why would these people put their reputations, finances (liability?)
and OTHER PEOPLES LIVES on the line to try and prove that these dogs are not the animal the media has made them out to be? WHY?
People who are making a great effort to stop the tide of misinformation spread by a fear based media. People who have seen the truth about pitbulls.

Are they all delusional? Are they egomaniacs concerned only with Image?
Upon closer inspection Jubaji your "opinion" is based on fear alone and countered by the opinions of everyone from trainers of working dogs, veterinarians , animal shelter employees and average everyday people who have found a love for this breed.
They are NOT the backwards hat wearing, saggy pants, wanna-be thugs that people like YOU Jubaji and your media educated sycophants would have us believe are the only people who would want to own a pitbull.

Like I said must be nice to paint the world with such broad generalizations, makes for less thinking and helps make it easy to be always right.

So send PETA some $$ Jubaji they need more fanatics like you in the ranks of the fearfully ignorant.

You were done from the very beginning.

You have never had a point at all.

You have exhibited nothing but empty emotionalism and personal anecdotes in the face of actual scientific data that demonstrates quite clearly that some breeds are more dangerous than others. The fact that idiots like you encourage bigger idiots like GQchris to get dogs that are not a good choice for a pet inevitably results in unfortunate incidents where people may be hurt, children killed, and dogs destroyed. How many dogs have been put down because people like you encourage idiots to get dogs they later realize (or are forced to realize) were not good choices for pets? How many of those dogs are immediately destroyed or die in shelters? How many of the children killed in dog attacks would have lived if people made more reasonable choices in getting a pet?

I've raised APB's for 10 years and have never been bitten by one, except in play. They are the most intelligent, mischievious, and loving dogs I've been exposed to. I have been bitten by Chow's, Dalmations, and GSD's while volunteering at the kennel. Heres my current Pup with my family.

My point (and I've repeated this many times now) is that some breeds are more dangerous than others and are therefore a stupid choice of pet.
