kikr: Ok, so I've been on the site now for a few days, made a few post, read alot of the thread and have learned just about zip.
What were you looking for?

Mostly what I've encountered has been smart aleck wannabe's who haven't got a clue what honor, loyaty, integrity or selflessness really mean.
You are looking for religion, not war arts.

I've encountered profanity, drug use endorsement, and recklessness through out the forum and it disappoints me to think this is the current generation of Martial Artist. I won't be back on this forum. Good Luck.
Political correctness. I call bull shit on this.

We can learn to hit other people; we learn to be deadly with our fists, feet, knives, sticks, and bricks. We can learn to snap necks and crush windpipes... but we can’t say "****"!

Refraining from violent behavior is a good idea and it can help to keep you out of a fight (but unfortunately, the other guy also has a say in that) but only violence can get you out of it once you’re in one and there is no place for PC in a street fight. And regardless of "why" you train "martial" means relating to, or suggestive of war. And regardless of what folks told you about the "Warrior code" these guys trained to kill and kill they did and that isn't politically correct.

And what folks can't have an opinion and defend that opinion?

There are a lot of real knowledgeable people here, Tant, Brewer, Boarspear, Garland, etc... The problem is there was a massive troll infestation, led by "matbla" and "nutter", (and thier various other names they use) but it seems to have tapered off a bit.

Hang around for a little while, and eventually the assholes leave. Though, you may have to deal with Matbla's fashion questions a few more times before he gets banned, (which it sounds like Excessive force is starting to lay the groundwork for.)

It's only funny when you have a few drinks and slur it into "STABMECHICK".

That says more about your ability to learn than the quality of the material.

Haha it's actually pretty amusing. When I first signed up for the forums and tried logging in, I forgot my password so I had to have them make a new one and send it to me. And by doing so they added the @be for some reason lol. And to answer your question I've always pronounced it as "bee-JAY-jay expertise at b. E." (Note the added emphasis on JAY and E."
