Default tel aviv about to be attacked?

i just read this on the news....

"Hezbollah major missile attacks will target Tel Aviv soon, but residents will be given one hour's notice to flee, a Palestinian news agency said on Wednesday.

The Palestinian Authority-based news agency Ma'an said Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah would give the tip-off when Israeli's should start evacuating.

"Hassan Nasrallah will address the people of Tel Aviv and warn them to evacuate the city within one hour," the Ma'an report said.

"As soon as the delay ends, hundreds of heavy missiles will start landing in the city, which has been divided into squares in order to let damage reach every inch of the city.

"An estimated 500 missiles are expected to land in Tel Aviv in a short period of time.""

this shits getting nuts.

Unlikely. Hezbollah doesn't have that many missiles with the range to hit Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv is 70 miles/115 km from Lebanon. They have a "few dozen" missiles with that kind of range, but in all likelyhood not the 500 claimed. These missiles are also not very accurate.

The IDF is highly skilled in changing tactics, manueverability, etc. and I wouldn't exactly say the U.S. is "stuck"--more like "choosing to stay."

hezbollah attacked an israeli outpost from lebanon, killed like 7 of their soldiers, captured two, and blew up an israeli tank with mine.

so is hezbollah, despite having a technologically inferior force. they have mastered the art of guerilla warefare and have been fighting israel for over 20 years now. every time the idf have faced hezobllah they have suffered casualties and now israel is talking about a ground offensive that will give hezbollah exactly what they want, fighting israel face to face on their own turf. if you browse the news you will see idf casualties are mounting rapidly despite having such superior technology. and just watch, israel is gonna repeat the usa/iraq mistake and lebanon is going to become a haven for muslim terrorists. i bet foreign muslim fighters are already entering lebanon right now for "jihad" against the jews . the israelis couldnt contain lebanon before, i doubt they are going to able to do it now.

you arent serious about this one right? this was reported just today....

"BAGHDAD, Iraq - Bombings and shootings soared by 40 percent in the Baghdad area in the past week, the U.S. military said Thursday. An American general said extremists were preparing "an all-out assault" on the capital in a decisive battle for the future of Iraq."

supposedly hezbollah attacked israel to avenge a palestinian family that was massacred by an israeli shell while they were having a picnic on a beach. the killing of this innocent family caused the palestinians to attack an israeli outpost and abduct a soldier, touching off the gaza invasion. soon after this, hezbollah attacked an israeli outpost as well and abducted 2 more soldiers. supposedly this escalation against israel was to avenge the innocent family killed in cold blood. the death of this family has actually become a symbol to palestinians and arabs as a justification of their resistance. heres a video of the aftermath of the shelling on the family(graphic)

Interesting Mike that you think Iran is behind this all. I cannot argue against that at all. Do you think Turkey has any involvement?

Everyday I talk to Arabs, Turks, and Israelis. This current war is nothing new, in fact its been going on for a long time, since at least the 70s when lebanon was home to the PLO. I really like a lot of turkish and arab people that I meet. But the more of them I talk to, the more convinced I am that eventually the US will have to go to war. Growing up I was pretty ignorant about the world I guess. I used to think that I could go anywhere I wanted. But I would never go to Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, or anywhere around there. There is alot of hatred against Americans, and against all non-muslims in general.

Its such a strange world over there. I never would have known about any of this if I wasnt into networking. Turkey and surrounding areas are exploding with new technology. Internet cafe's are spreading like wildfire, and most people now have some access to the internet.

edit:
I forgot to add. This war is nothing new, but I dont beleive that Israel is going about it in the right way. I think they are doing very little to win against the well prepared hezbolla. But are doing alot to tear down the leboneze government. Lebenon has a fighting army of only about 14k people. Most of them are poorly trained and they do not even have modern armors. Lebanon already had a hard time being somewhat stable. With all the infrastructure being bombed, I beleive its only a matter of time before Lebanons government is replaced by hezbolla.

no turkey is not invlolved even though they have reason to be. hezbollah is funded and controlled by iran. this has been known forever. and lebanons gov is a puppet gov. hezbollah is already in control, and they have the popular support of the lebanese people. their gov has no say or control over hezbollah nor did they ever.

the turks have their own problem, as they are fighting kurdish guerillas on their own soil as we speak. whats ironic though is, that israel funds and trains kurdish guerillas to fight against turkey and iran, exactly the same way iran funds hezbollah guerillas to fight israel.

all sides have innocent blood on their hands, and thats the bottom line.

and btw, most people from the middle east are some of the kindest, chillest, creative people around. its not their faults that their governments and leaders are greedy or have personal agendas to persue.

i lived in iran for 1 year when i was like 11-12. everyone who i met wanted to know everything i had to tell them about america. they showed nothing but love for me and other americans and treated us like guests. i remember being asked about michael jordan alot in iran for some reason, i guess a lot of kids around the world look up to michael jordan.

this is nothin but a provocation

"you have what you want, but we kill an innocent"

Hezbollah attacked Israel, but that's what he had to do.

A leader who won't revenge a kill of innocent is a weak leader.
And Israeli knew this.
They wanted him to show weakness or start a war.

Now they gonna get attacked

LOL
