Laurel J. Sweet
Boston Herald February 5, 2007 A carpenter who walked in on a man allegedly touching himself beside a little boy in a Tyngsboro ice rink lavatory Saturday swept the child to safety, then wrestled the weirdo to the ground during a brutal bathroom brawl. “Once I saw that little kid’s face, I just saw black,” Jimi Montbleau of Lowell said yesterday. David St. George Jr., 47, of Hudson, N.H., will be arraigned today in Lowell District Court on charges of open and gross lewdness and wanton and lascivious conduct. Acting Tyngsboro Police Chief Richard Burrows praised Montbleau for his heroics.“It’s nice to see somebody step up and do something as opposed to just turning the other way,” Burrows said. Montbleau suffered a bruise under his left eye in the fracas. He had stopped by the Skate 3 arena with his brother, Jeff Montbleau, Saturday night to get his skates sharpened. “A guy came up the stairs and said there was a guy downstairs in the urinal masturbating,” Montbleau said. “I knew there were kids going in and out of there.” As his brother went looking for the deviant in the facility’s three rinks, Montbleau headed for the john. Looking like “any other hockey dad,” St. George, he alleged, was standing at a urinal eyeballing a seemingly oblivious 9-year-old standing next to him. “The little kid didn’t know what was going on, so I pretended to be washing my hands,” Montbleau said. “When he was done I said,‘C’mon, buddy, time to go, you’ve got to get out of here.’ ” St. George, said this former high school boxer and wrestler, “looked about 6-foot-3, 260 pounds. I’m 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds, but my size has never been a problem. If you’re right, you’re going to win. At first I said, ‘What are you doing here, buddy?’ He had a bunch of different stories.” Their small talk quickly devolved to fisticuffs. “I put my hands on his chest and he elbowed me in the side of the face,” Montbleau said. “He tried to get by me and I reached around his waist, lifted him up, flipped him and pinned him to the ground.” With his brother’s timely help, the Montbleaus were able to hold St. George down until Tyngsboro police took the reins. Chief Burrows said even in a kid-friendly place like Skate 3, parents can’t be cautious enough. “Anytime you have a family,” he said, “you’ve got to monitor your children whether it’s in a mall, a skating rink or a cinema.” ---------------------------------------------------------------- I don't care what the guy studied, he did the right thing! It just so happens that his boxing and wrestling experience helped him control this fella.

LOL! I expected Boring to criticize the guy for: a) not running away in 'SD' or b) not stabbing him to death with the 25 knives everyone should carry on their person at all times

Quick thinking the kids had to be traumatized enough, not to have to watch a perv get his ass beat on top of it.
Kodos to that guy.

Thats REALLY funny on a forum with 6 veterans on it...especially when you ain't one of 'em and I am. Where were YOU on OCT 23 1983? I was ground Zero. Remember that next time one of you real life armchair warriors wants to insult a vet.
