One thing I hate about both major parties is the fact that each's ideologies are so absolute. It'a always each party that has all the answers.

But I would like to ask this question to all strict partisans of either party?

How is a meat eating, bow-hunting, Sammy hagar listening, budweiser drinking, country western lovin, huge gas hogging truck driving, WWF loving guy supposed to accept an effete liberal democrat as his or her commander in chief?

And likewise, how is a tofu eating, birkenstock wearing, tree hugging, Bob Dylan loving, french language college major supposed to feel supported by a guy with a cowboy hat driving a truck around his ranch at Crawford texas?

Doesn't my point seem to be that we need both parties to counter the other, and provide some type of balance and fairness? That most people are actually in the middle?

I sometimes feel that I am the only person who is more or less in the middle that has strong opinions among people I know.

How about meat eating, bow hunting, beer drinking fellas who've picked up a few foreign tongues here and there, enjoy the classics and have good ettiquette.

Balanced and well-rounded kills polarity and the drama that some people need or better yet thrive on.
