Well, I'd vote Indian, but you have to watch out for the follow through the next day.
Love it all actually.

Out of this list I'm going with Filipino - adobo is some the tastiest s**t out there.

I put Malaysian/Singaporean down on the other thread in one of the other fora.

Yeah. I change my mind. I'm going to go with Indonesian too.

Rendang some beef, put sambal on anything...

BAGUS!!

I voted Thai.

Aseep - Yes sambal goes on almost EVERYTHING I eat (scrambled eggs, hamburgers, steaks...you name it).

I've got a recipe for homemade pindasauce using p-nut butter, lime, ketjap manis, cilantro, garlic and a few other secret ingredients.

Sambal is good. Very good.

One of these days this summer I'm going to make my own, score me some banana leaves, coat some fish fillets with sambal, wrap them up with the leaves, and toss that on a grill.

Note: I love all of the food in the poll. If I had to choose just one - say for a last meal, I'd be in serious serious trouble.

This is my favourite commercial sambal. It's from Singapore, but I've found it in local Chinese shops.

Singlong brand "Sambal Nasi Lemak"
