My roommate is a good cook and he says you determine how well done a steak is by comparing it to the skin inbetween your thumb and pointer finger. Squeeze the little bit of flesh between your thumb and pointer finger. The farther in you squeeze, the tougher it's going to be (rare, medium rare, medium, etc). So squeeze as deep as you can before you touch the bones in your hands, that's how a well done steak should feel. Hope that makes sense

We have a winna! THAT is the correct answer. If you order a steak well done, the chef should throw you out on your ass.

I prefer my burgers medium. Steak? I'm fine with about any way.

On the charcoal grill, marinated over night. Delicious.
