Default Wesley Snipes Sentenced

Wesley Snipes has just been sentenced to three years for three counts of "willfully failing to file a tax return". It was the maximum sentence the judge could have handed down, it seems they wanted to make an example of him.

I'm not at all surprised that they threw the book at him. I'm sure they did want to make an example of him; income tax protesters are an exasperating pain in the ass for the federal government and I'm sure they feel that prosecuting and imprisoning a celebrity is a high-profile object lesson.

I hope someone smuggles a blade to him in prison cause he's going to need it.
