Default did anyone here really live that excessive 80's lifestyle???

did any of the lives of you guys here on the forum peak in the 1980s?? what i mean by this is were you one of those guys who was making money, wearing business suits, using the football size cellular phones, snorting tons of cocaine in nightclubs, driving a slick 1980s sportscar, and living in a fat apartment or bachelor pad in some cool city??? anyone here actually get to experience all that???? what was it like. please tell me as much about it as possible, so then i can pretend its me doing all those cool things in the 80's when im laying in bed later tonight.

Hell no.
I was a young laddie during the 80's... I was way too busy being fascinated by and beating off to the lingerie section of the JC Penney catalog... lol

Back in the heyday of Leveraged Buy-Outs...

I was 10.
My allowance was about $5 a week.
I had a cool dirt bike.
I lived in Winnipeg.
My drug of choice was either a super Big Gulp or a Slurpee.

Yeah. The 80s rocked.

I was in my thirties but I didn't do none of that stuff.

It sounds like gutter failure, not peaking, to me.

I raised a family, trained 5 days a week and worked hard at my job.

Sorry, nothing to dream about here...

Ted

Yeah I totally flipped out in the early 80's - went all John Travolta. I was spending more money in a day than I made in a week on coke sometimes..had to deal to make up for the difference. I was banging a couple of whores at once and doing lines of coke the size of a bic pen..one on each side..

Of course, I was only, like 8 years old at the time.. so the lifestyle caught up with me pretty quickly..
