It seems that Junichiro Koizumi will go down in history as the only Japanese Prime Minister to ever possess charisma.
![]() It's a positive step, but it didn't stop three members of his cabinet (including the Justice Minister) from visiting Yasukuni Shrine lately.

He's hardly the first to issue an apology over the war(almost 50 official apologies have been given since the 60s). And, Yasukuni is likely to remain a diplomatic 'hot spot' for quite some time, as a lot of neighbors get irate about it but at least some members of government are not going to stop visiting a national cemetary.
