in all my years of training those that teach me have talked of inner power and the ability to use it,how can i find such inner power and when do i know that ive found it,i find sometimes its hard to stay focused especially in the middle of a tourament,can some one please help me

well.....good luck with that question

but i can tell you one thing....(ok a few things)

theres not a big difference between "finding" it and "useing" it

you cant "use" it if your tense, or agitated/angry/hatefull

relaxe and breath....

some martial arts take longer then others to "find" it, other martial arts never allow you to.....

dont confuse it for confidence....

you cant use it for "evil" for that would mean your agitated/angry/hatefull.....

be a good person, and dont expect anything from anyone...

learn to meditate....."channle your energy by breathing"

(take up yoga, who knows)

dont be afraid to look stupid.......

learn humility....

Repetition is the key.

It took me ten years of lower belt competition to be good enough to enter black belt competition.

I then went ten years before winning my first black belt match.

It took another ten years to win my first Grand Championship.

It was only in the months prior to that first really big trophy that things began to slow down in the ring and I began to move without thinking about it and to sense and understand what my opponent was about to do.

Now I can tell you 10,000 ways to get to that point.

I can't fight 10,000 matches for you.

Be patient.
