Yes, Navy seals practice fighting under water, with full scuba gear on. It usually involves knife fighting and empty hand is generally restricted to grabbing regulator hoses.

Krav Maga taught by Israle paratroopers was the self defense-fighting system for all the Seal teams ( at that time 4) prior to Paul Vunak being contracted by Commander Husted. Frank Cucci still teaches most of the knife stuff, and a lot of cross training is done with Marine Force Recon. HOOYAA
