Hey Kev, since we're discussing the negatives of religions, lets look at King Henry the VIII whom formed the Anglican church. Do you know why he created his own church? Because each of his wives (7 of them?) would not give birth to a son. Basically any woman that couldn't give him a son was executed.

Naturally this practice was not legal with any known form of European Christianity at the time, so he split and formed the Anglican Church which is the root denomination of many American denominations of Christianity.

Before any splitting, lets not forget that at one time one could buy away their sins by purchasing expensive pardons. I guess someone from the pearly gates of heaven needed a little more cash and got tired of salvation for free. The guys that sold these things invented what is today known as "Used Car Sales."

For such a hard core Christian enthusiast like yourself, you've reflected little on the history of Christianity in Europe (before our country was recognized). Instead you rely on yelling strict interpretations of the New Testament, as if your discovery of the bible last year is the worlds discovery and includes all things done in the name of Christianity.

To cut back to my first reply to your very first post: If you don't like bowing, then go to a different gym.

You have FAILED to make any rational connection between bowing and why the US olympic Judo team is not competitive.

YOU have an issue with bowing. Most people don't; its merely one formality and a relatively small price to pay so that you can learn Judo, Karate etc.

Now give me a 3 page report on the life and times of John Holmes from 1968-1976.

He was producing national and international Judo first place championsin the 1960's also!

Plus was training national and international wrestling champions.
I don't know if he received his black belts in SHOTOKAN karate then. Or was that after he received his juijitsu black belts. you know the ones he got out in California in the 1960s where they were so impressed by his excellant throwing skills?
