| Registered User | Thanks for the review. Did you say that 'oxygen choke' & 'blood choke' confuse you? I believe I see your point of view about that but it seems that would be the best way to catagorize them. Any who, thanks for letting me know I don't want to put my money on that one. Ken

![]() | Oxygen Choke is commonly known as a 'Choke' Blood Choke is commonly known as a 'Strangle' Both types deprive the brain of oxygen. "Spanky found this terminology unusual and confusing." I've never heard of it phrased as a 'Blood Choke'. Choke: To interfere with the respiration of by compression or obstruction of the larynx or trachea.
