If this shop was the kind that might have a dog or cat around.......

I'd grab the animal by it's tail and club the guy with a dog,---------
Yeah----------That's right----------------club him with a dog.

The dog is a very versatile weapon, and has been domesticated for many years. It could have been a traditional weapon that got lost in the translations of text.

My option is not here, but is the simplest, Run, but if I couldn't run, then my Colt .45 will do just fine!

I would call the person with a weapon a weakling and challenge him to an empty handed fight.
