I am planning on renting a room for a one-time self-defense workshop that a friend is teaching, and looking at the contract, the place we are renting from says that we are supposed to design our promotion in such a way that no suggestion of endorsement or sponsorship is implied.
I was wondering if anybody has any idea what this means or what that entails. Are we still allowed to put their name and address on the flier as the location (a very central location that might help get more people interested) or would printing a name and address imply endorsement? Do I need to have fine print saying they don't endorse the event? Thanks in advance, Yael |
