Default Insurance

were would be a good place or organization to be part of , that would be affordable for Liability insurance.

For Karate and Tae Kwon Do, being part of the AAU is affordable. But for kickboxing I havn't found anything that descant.

There are many agencies that do not care what organization you are part of.

if you are only worried about liability. if you are set up as a sole proprietor you can get an umbrella policy

The waiver of liablility wont always hold up in legal protection

It's my 2nd year with this group. I will be shopping around for someone else next year. The only thing I can say right now is that their customer service is not too good. I have called their office before and they revert me to EMAIL??? hmm Not cool especially if you can imagine them sending you to email again if you are submitting claims. They never got back to any of my emails either. I had to always call again and again before someone wants to talk to you. Guess you have to get the person at the office willing to do some work that day. It's clearly only a couple of people of people working there and not a large call center/large corporation. Other than that, I still like what they promote as for traveling instructors since I needed to be covered no matter where I taught on the workshop/seminar circuit. Right now, i'm shopping around now.

Anyone with a good insurance company, please do share!

Farmers insurance group did mine once. You can also get an umbrella policy depending on your situation.

I forget the other company I used.

what i'm trying to get set up is something along the line of CASK, there a kicboxing organization out of Canada, they offer liability for each club that signes up as well as individual insurance for each athlete. USA Boxing does the same. I've been trying to talk to quite a few insurance companies to try and get some sort of quote on a program like that. If I do like a club membership that covers individual insurance per athlete, then I won't have to do that unbrella insurance when I run tournaments.
