Default how to get students for a kid's self defense seminar??

Wow, you all did such a good job of helping me find ways to get women for a WSD seminar, maybe you could help me with this one! It's still in the planning stages... and I already know about the papers/radio/etc. and can call church groups and flier at places moms hang out. Plus some of the women at the WSD conference were interested. But needing more suggestions... the YMCA? Libraries? Laundromats? Talk to schools, even? Where do moms hang out?

The seminar is a really good one, and teaches children how to recognize, prevent and overcome dangers including strangers, gangs and guns... kidnapping and abduction attempts, etc. They teach danger alertness, stranger avoidance, threat evaluation, hand, arm and hair releases, body grab escapes, how to avoid being pulled into a car, fighting in and escaping from a car, and how to hide and get help.

Boy (Cub scouts) and girl scout clubs!

Soccer moms can be found where? Gymnastics? Pee-Wee Basket ball camps? (Pee-Wee anything) Say Mc.Dojo's...Health clubs and fitness centers? Any place with a free bulliten board. PTA? Day care centers, did you say YMCA? That too.

I'm out. C'mon gang! I know you'll have a ton of ideas...

watch out, kids do not understand when and where not to use the things you teach them. they'll happily resort to martial arts on other kids if they can't get to do what they want to. america is a very litigious society. you rn the risk of the parents of a hurt kid suing you, as well as the parents of the kid you taught.

I hear ya. I think the instructors do a really good job, though. They've had kids classes in their dojo for a long time.
