Default Website Input Requested

I started a small martial arts club about 6 weeks ago, when the club where I was training folded. My webpage seems to be getting a decent number of hits, which I can track back to ads I've posted online, but there is no follow up from those hits. I've received only one email inquiry since the page was posted. Currently I've got a few legacy students who stayed with me as our previous club folded (various reasons outside our direct control - we were actually doing well), but I need to increase the student body to keep the new space going.

I'm looking for feedback and thought on where I've gone wrong with my page. If you've got a minute or two and some input I'd appreciate it. Thanks...just click the link below.

Shawn

"Shawn Gliddon has been involved in the martial arts for the last 25 years. His training background includes Shotokan Karate, Seven Star Mantis, Dale John's Integral Combat System, as well as ongoing Savate and JKD studies under Scott Redstone." This statement could possibly be hurting you. Where are the credentials of your qualified instructors? What is the lineage? Studying for 25 years is too vauge, what about rank? People want to study under Bad Asses or Legit Instructiors.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. I've added the city/prov to the location, and added the phone number to the website. When I put it together I figured people on the net would e-mail. I've taken down the "vauge" bio, and will post an "Instructor's" section shortly.

I've been training in JKD Concepts/Jun Fan/Kali since 1998, and have been teaching classes since 2003. My instructor, Scott Redstone, is a Jun Fan Instructor and Savate Silver Glove under Salem Assli - So our lineage goes back through him to Guro Inosanto. Rank testing has never been big with our group and I've yet to take my Instructor test - although I plan to do so under Salem in January.

Sounds much better. Don't lie about your credentials either-once you get labeled a fraud, you are ruined.

Default more input

The first question for a lot of potential students will be about the price. I think it's awesome that you allow drop-in's. It's spelled out pretty clearly to me.
