There will be Pro amd amateur MMA matches. As well as Kickboxing matches. There will be 8 MMA matches. At the moment I have openings for two mroe matches in which they will be kickboxing matches. Those people fighting in a kickboxing match will quallify to be ranked in the WRKF. So far I have one green belt heavy weight, one green belt supper weivy weight, and a black belt heavy weight that still need a fight. well, at this meet there was a pretty good turnout. I believe there was 7 MMA bouts and there was over 800 people there to watch. For Western Nebraska, thats a pretty big croud. Exspecially for a amateur event.
My fighter unforunatly lost, but, he went against a kid that was 35 lbs heavier. Slipped on going for a ankle lock, and thats about all it takes for someone to get a upper hand on a MMA fight. But my guys stand up was very good, did some good blocks, perry and counter strikes and got up in there. My guys is close enough to cruser weight that he'll be droping down to that for the November 11th fight.
