How do you know when it is just a bunch of sticks thrown into a creek or an actual beaver dam. I see what looks to be a beaver dam but there is no beaver. HE may be off getting more sticks.

Its in the creek by our house. I have to walk by it everyday when I walk my son to school. It seems to be getting taller or the creek is getting shallower.

People throw their garbage in the creek its disgusting, they even through bikes tires furniture everything in there. If I were the beaver I would be pretty upset about this!
