Forum Rules; A Suggestion
Guys and Gals:
Just as a consideration, I'd like to throw out some rules we all might choose to follow when posting in this area. This is a subject that carries with it far more moral responsibility than any and all empty hand systems. The information shared here could potentially make someone a far more dangerous individual than they would ever be without it. It therefore weighs heavily on me that we need to be responsible with what we put out here.
1. We will allow political debate. Politics often decides who goes into harms way and for how long. I encourage people to know what their leaders are thinking, and I encourage people to try to understand why. If you don't wish to partake in this kind of debate, so be it. And in the interest of learning, let's make sure that debate here is civil and educated.
2. War stories are some of the best ways to learn, so real-world accounts of experiences you know of or have been through are welcome. But please scrub them of anything that might compromise current operational doctrine so that the people who depend on current methods are not compromised. Remember that this forum is public, and consider the ramifications if you were the one who put sensitive information in the wrong hands.
3. Be sincere. If you post an honest opinion that you believe will help someone else out, it will be appreciated. This section of the boards is not for childish trolling. We won't ever censor honest opinions, but trolls aren't welcome here.
Beyond that, folks, please use this board often, and provide anything and everything you think might help. Thank you to everyone in advance, and I look forward to seeing what you all post!
Sine Pari!
Mike
