Default A tribute to a fallen soldier

http://www.ssgbriantcraig.org/

USMC SSG Brian Craig was an upper-classman in highschool when I was an incoming freshman. He was one of the only white guys who got put on the 4x400 meter relay on the track team. He was incredibly quick!

I heard of his untimely passing a few years ago. I only talked to him briefly in school. He had a twin brother and I remember hearing that either he (or his brother) was going straight into the military.

Never realized how much he accomplished until I saw some of his pictures and read about his bio (after highschool).

He gave his life for our country. Read the messages on his site.

I'll tell you something - he likely accomplished more than that bio from high school ever would have predicted. He inspired others by wearing his uniform with dignity and honor, and he sacrificed himself for the thing he most believed in. Thanks for posting.

And to Staff Sergeant Craig, USMC -
Don't worry about polishing that brass, Marine. Your actions are inspiration enough.

I only knew him as a mild-mannered runner in highschool. This picture speaks volumes...
