I hope McCain will run in 08.

McCain seems like a very trustworthy and honest to God man. He served in Vietnam as a fighter pilot and nearly gave his life trying to survive in Hoa Lao. He walked the walk which is more than most have the courage to do.

He consistantly talks about reducing inefficient spending. My hope is that he will balance out our trade defecits with other nations and stimulate confidence and growth in the U.S. economy.

I wish he wasn't anti-MMA, but I find myself enjoying Pride & K-1 over UFC these days.

Overall, he seems like he would make a great President and an excellent role model for our nation and our children.

PS - Mike, I'm understanding what you mean by steadfast & straight forward leadership vs. flaky and likeable leadership. I've learned that you will butt heads in the former, get into the political cross fires abit and maybe take a few shots, but command the solid respect of atleast a few. In the later, people will attack that weakness whether they like you or not.

I think McCain would be universally respected by both parties. Let's keep our fingers crossed that he makes the primaries!

Well although the port deal is now bound for Halliburton, i think a couple of pics are worth a few thousand words in this case...
