Garland

I've been lightly following some news reports that say about 8 or so outspoken generals, both active and retired, and very well accomplished are calling for the ouster of Rumsfeld and seeking some rather dramatic changes in our approach to the war on terror and the beuracracy of our current administration.

They cite Rumsfeld as being contemptuous of the military and making extremely erroneous decisions while being given sound military advice by those under him.

I don't really know exactly what's going on, but I'd like to hear people who serve's take on the situation, as well as our resident expert and military genius's thoughts...Mike, what's going on, and what's going to happen as a result of all of this dissent-heard or unheard???
