Default SOCOM Hellweek! :D

http://www.socomhellweek.com/

Play station gamer-types participate in a SEAL Hell Week simulation (sort-of like the one I went through last year but this SOCOM one has mission type training and other military-like training).

It was filmed as Reality Series.

Some of them didn't make it through day 1...

Those dudes swimming was less than satisfactory. Not trying to sound elitist here, but it was.

I guess since the cameras were rolling, they toned it down....

PS - I spent about 3-months running for distance and intervals, doing some swimming and doing calisthenics for preparation for the one I did last year and it was still very challenging.

Day 2...nice.

The sniper-scout training and cover fire excercise looked cool.

Props for that!! At this point in my physical fitness I'd be happy to FINISH a 5 mile run!!

Day 3...getting awaken in the middle of the night by gunfire and hitting the deck to do mountain climbers!

What's great about this? All these guys are gen-X-ers, normally a bit older than the typical enlistment age (like me) and its great seeing them push themselves. Its great seeing anyone push themselves at anything they do.
