Default A salute...

Greetings all...

Today is memorial day. I just wanted to take a moment to share a few thoughts with you.

My grandfather, Raymond Sr. (RIP) served in WW2. Army airborne infantry in the 101st airborne. That whole "Band of Brothers" thing was about men just like him.

My Uncle Hank (RIP) served in the US Navy through the whole Vietnam war.

It is said that nobody hates war more that a warrior and I can tell you this much is true. I'm not exactly a patriot but I do appreciate living in this country. I'm not asking anyone to set aside their values, opinions or political views. I'm not here to boast about the military traditions of my family or seeking accolade for my own service...

I simply ask that you all take a moment to consider the fallen and the survivors of those who have paid the ultimate price for freedom. Your freedom!

To consider just for a moment the widows, brothers and sisters, parents and children of our soldiers past and present and the wounded, maimed and missing.

May God bless every one...
