Wow. Kinda makes all the shit you go through in daily life seem about worthless compared to what these guys went through and are still willing to go through some more.

thats crazy, that one wounded soldier has a bionic eye, did you guys see that??? that bionic eye had like multiple lenses/cameras in it or something.

reminds me of the video of the soldier who received a bionic arm after returning from iraq. there truly are cyborgs walking around, our technology has made radical advances in these fields...

Dick, no offense, but the fact that what you took away from that was "Oh cool! Bionic people!" might not have been the point of posting the link. Bionic body parts will never - and I mean never in a billion years - be a fraction as cool as those men and their sense of duty and patriotism

i understand that these people experience horrific things and get killed and disfigured, and ive already posted about how courageous they are for volunteering to do so. that soldiers eye though, id never seen anything like that before. its quite striking to me. i wasnt "in character" when i posted that, i was genuinely amazed by it.
