Thumbs up

Nice vid post, Mike!

As I've discovered first hand, most Californians are anti-firearm, anti-rifle. They believe that the police can take care of all security needs - but these Koreans had the right idea (although a little disorganized).

I'm glad that our police force is well armed and capable, but in a riot situation the police can't be everywhere at once, even with military assistance.

A more recent example is the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina along the Gulf Coast and the mayhem that took place afterwards. I don't think most Americans realize what happened afterwards.

thats quite an amazing piece of footage. look how greedy those people are, ransacking shops and stealing peoples livelihoods. i give the reporter a lot of credit for having the balls to confront some of those people and make them feel embarrassed. some of those people were acting like animals. its scary just how quickly that mob mentality can take a hold of large groups of people. its like the feeding frenzy that sharks lose themselves into once they start gathering.

koreans werent the only people who armed themselves during the la riots. i remember watching an older black lady being interviewed as she was walking down the street with a huge revolver she was carrying in a leather holster on her hips. she was explaining how she had no other choice but to walk around with a gun at her waist because people were going so crazy at the time.
