Exclamation Health problems from dead shin nerves?!

i read a post asking if their is a way to deaden the shin verves without worrying about a cancer in the shin bones later in life!!!!

there is a possibility that the abuse of the shins can cause cancer(!) or other health problems?!

dont give just an opinion, post something if you know that its true

thaiboxing is a rough sport. You are going to get broken toes and broken bones, you will get cuts and bruises on practically all parts of your body, if you compete you most certainly will carry an injury almost constantly (train around the injury).

There are risks involved just like in any sport. If you dont like the pain, or cant seem to get your head round the sometimes insane mentallity that is required to fight Thaiboxing then dont do it.

If you dont want to fight and dont like the pain involved with shin kicking and dont want to risk the cellular damage by solid impact of shin bone against shin bone which can lead to cancer then wear shin pads!

No one is forcing you to take part in Thaiboxing you have a choice, you can wear shinpads, it wont make you look tougher... but at least you wont feel the pain. If you worry a lot and always complain about the pain then you've probably picked the wrong sport because pain is integral to Thaiboxing.

enjoy, just forget about the risk and do it.

yes that seems crazy but mate we are all going to die someday! I love it so I just ignore the risks involved.

A body is only that, nothing else.

Cancer can come from many things, standing in the sun too long. Breathing second hand smoke. Eating too much of certain things. Sure take caution in life, but don't trouble yourself about the minute possibilities, unless you want to live in a bubble.

As Willaim said, you can get can cancer from many things. I bet one of the worst things for you in your house is your microwave. You are subjected to a lot of excess radiations daily with the use of one.

Seems since the advent of microwaves cancer has been rampant. But almost everything can give you cancer now. The gross crap they pump into food will definitely have some adverse affects on you.

So I say just do it if you want to. If you enjoy it enough it is worth the pain.

Cancer = we all have Cerncer cells, we actually have cancer all our lives. Cancer is cells multiplying, this happens every single second you are alive! cells die, but just before they do they multiply. Cancer is a cell that does not have the genetic knowlege to stop multiplying, hence huge tumas, rife pollips speading all around your body. Good stuff! if your not bothered about it. And you shouldn't be.

This is why! when a cell stops living, ie your full of cells, yeah. It cannot multiply, apart from hair, that is the only execption. So when you die, you shrivel up and turn to dust. Why then applying these facts would dead shin cells that make up nerves multiply? they can't as they are dead, the brain knows this and will up the ammount of blood flow to that area full of vitamins!, but knowing that the bone is subject to minor breaks and chips it will force (and this is good!) a greater calcium ammount to this area, making your shins, incredibly strong, and extremely healthy! and not to mention healing rapidly and very usable!

This can go the other way.......look at the elephant man, he had a bone dissorder that made his bones do this but on a very grand scale! yet he lived to a ripe old age even for our times, never mind victorian days. Anyway, AstraZenica are extremeley close to finding a real cure for Cancer, and so are many companys. Another thing, over 45% of Ozzi Ozbournes wife's body had cancer in it, yet she is now cancer free after treatment, that's under 6 months treatment. Chill out mate honestly, nowt to worry about.

Oh yeah, but there is a more worrying thing, while your hitting your shins on your sparring partner or punch bag try not to breath. The Government are now in extra debt due to the urgency of an aids cure needed. A paper from a big Japanese Medical Science co (they stopped Saars, and also have reported a cure in the making for ME so quite respected) predicted that in less than three years the Aids Virus, thats HIV+ (posative) will become air born. This has implications far worse than shin cancer mate ha ha. Keep smiling guys ha.

Cancer is the growth. The cause is abnormal cell division. Which leads to the thought that any abnormal treatment to the body could very well result in abnormal cell division.

Heh, and that just shows you how paranoid some people are. AIDS airbourne, hah, and money grows on trees.

It was not supposed to come across like that really lol. I'm not worried about shin cancer (lol) or air bourne aids. Why should we be? Well we shouldn't but I suppose if you look into a Virus, and that's what aids is, why is this Virus, and only 2 other known Virus's not air bourne? Sarrs started as a non airbourne Virus but mutated, well why has aids not done this? Flu was passed sexually for thousands of years before becoming air bourne, so why not aids or will it? who knows who cares, It is documented, and I was saying it for a joke, like a more worrying aspect of getting ill rather than shin cancer lol. But I don't want to start an argument over intellect or anything. I'm just saying, have a look into it, then laugh at my comments lol.
