Who's in Thailand now?

Guys are there any of you in Thailand at the minute? I will be back in December 28th, going to the North. What it is I want to know...... Ling-Lom, do any of you guys know somewhere it is taught in the North of Thailand.

My instructer teaches Boran but that is sadly missing a lot of the ground work of Ling-Lom. Boran still has some techniques that are usefull when you find youself on your bottom but against a wrestler I dont think it wise to fully place faith on these alone. ling-Lom does have an entire ground work method and I am just wondering if any of you oldies know of a place in the North of Thailand that still teaches it, it could be called lerd-rit also but i am not sure, i think its Ling-Lom. There is very little about this to be found on the internet, its there, I know its there, i have spoken with some Thai people who say its taught to the police in Bangkok but Bangkok is not where I want to live.

You may want to try Pedro Villalobos in Chiang Mai. He teaches Muay Boran, KK, Muay Thai, and some NHB.

Pedro is a great resource, if he can't teach you himself, he'll know someone who give. His email is on the website if you want to drop him a line and ask.

thanx, i sent him an e-mail. Hopefully he helps me out a little as I am keen to get deeper into the Thai arts.

You can contact me, there is someone who trained in all the thai arts and is writing a book that is very thoroughly researched. He can possibly help you if you havent found what you are looking for.
