I was wondering, what kind of injuries or detrimental effects can I expect from muay thai training? I am not including actual fights in this, just regular training/sparring.
Thanks |

Really you shouldn't have any injuries, it's just training. The injuries you sustain might be similar to injuries you could get doing any sport or activity. Now if you are going to spar hard... then you will get injuries like hurting your foot or ankle sometimes, getting charlie horses.. and then all kinds of injuries from getting hit. But I know for a fact many people train Muay Thai and don't actually do any hard sparring so if you're like that then you shouldn't get any injuries or detrimental effects.
