Apologies if this a repeat question...I am new to this forum....
I am looking to move to a different gym for kickboxing/boxing training, with the goal to compete again in full-contact fights (lightweight female). Ideally I would like a location in West Houston. However, I am having a hard time finding a gym which offers all the equipment and instruction for fight prep....I seem to only find martial arts gyms that want me to follow a very inflexible training with lots of additional elements I am not interested in (weapons etc) but which I can't skip - anyone can help? Thanks! |

Try Kru Pong, he teaches at the One 2 One training center on Richmond ave. (between Hillcroft and fountain view) he teaches Muay Thai (the real thing) and he's a really nice guy.

I've tried Kru Prong one time, and loved it. He killed me though, his class will definitley get you into proper conditioning mode. The only problem with me is I live on the east side, and the time/ drive is too long. Since then, I've trained on my own or with Tim Mousel. I work offshore, so finding time for classes is few and far between, so I had to devise my own scheduled training sessions that fit my needs. Lots of rope, and shadowboxing.
