Question Bangkok and Phuket Gyms and...

Hey guys,

Has anyone here trained at one of the gyms in Phuket? I was looking at training in Phuket or Bangkok/Fairtex; I am heading to Japan afterwards, and need to take a week or two worth of Japanese lessons before I go (I've been up there to work/sudy, and while my friends were amazing about helping me out, I felt pretty bad about speaking so little Japanese in comparison to how much English they spoke).

Also, if anyone who has trained at Fairtex knows of a language school in Bangplee where Fairtex is located, that would be really, really great.

Last question. I am looking at stoping through Thailand on my way back from Japan to Australia, and wanted to know if anyone here could give me some contact details for schools/camps/instructors that teach Muay Boran or some of the more "old school" Muay Thai.

Thanks for the help, and for all of the information you guys throw around here, its been very helpful as I was selecting a trainer and getting started .

Cheers,

Kyle

Hey, Fairtex is only a 30 minute cab ride to Bangkok so you would have better luck finding lessons in Bangkok and just going there.

If you like email me when you are going to be in town and maybe I can show you some places to train.

Smile

Hey guys,

Thanks for the advice and for the offer to show me around, cheers. I've gotten in touch with the guys at Fairtex and they've been fantastic. Now I'm just waiting to get the okay from one of my supervisors who doesn't want me travelling through Thailand (bird flu) before coming up...

Cheers,

Kyle
