Heres the list;

Jeet Kune Do. - Bruce Lee's 'style'. The idea is that the student learns about a number of differnet styles and from those produces a personal approach to self defense. JKD also has philisophical implications, but I don't know enough about it to comment

Filipino Kali. - Emphasis on weapons, particulary short (26") sticks and knives.

Pentjak Silat. - Indonesian, empahsis on weapons (particulary blades), also kicking and striking.

Muay Thai. - A powerful ring sport which uses kicks, knees, elbows, and fists. Many Mixed Martial arts competitors (UFC, Pride, etc) train Muay Thai as theit primary striking art

Savate. - French kickboxing

Wrestling - well, wrestling.

You've got quite a variety here, so you have to decide what you would like. Both Kali and Silat get a fair amount of respect as far as weapons go. Muay Thai would be my choice over Savate for unarmed ring-fighting. As far as the others, I don't know enough to advise.

Sounds like a TBA academy, I think alot of them offer the same set of arts or close to it. If it is anything like the TBA academy I went to then the Muay Thai is the main focus of the school with a couple of hours a week set aside for those other arts each. At my academy you could train in Muay Thai and when you got to a certain level you could train the other stuff for free, or pay a little extra to train the other stuff right away.

Do what I tried to do and try them all for a while!

Just my opinion and this is because I am primarily a stand up fighter. If it were me I would take either Savate or MT. Savate interests me though because of how much you use your legs.

I would go with muay thai and and wrestling go into the UFC take down Tito Ortiz move on to Coutre win the title and laugh all the way to the bank. At least that is what I would do.

p.s. filipino kali and silat are cool if you want to learn weapons.

the best advice i could give, is to try each one,
the reason why im saying this, is what one person may find good maybe totally useless to you.
find which of the 6 MAs' you listed work best for you,
at the end of the day what have you got to lose by trying.

also spend abit time researching each of them, find out the basics about them,

heres a good site for them

(gives indepth knowledge about each one)

Hell why not do em all? Absorb what is useful, and leave the rest.....dont limit yourself to any one thing.
