Default ankle protection

Howdy all. One of my ankles has been messed up for 2 years from kicking a sandbag incorrectly. Is there any good ankle protectors/ wraps out there that I can wear while I train?

The best Ankle Supports that I've gotten are from Thaismai. I've also tried FBT (decent quality) and some American brands like Ace and Bike. Fairtex brand doesn't seem to be as good. I know a few people who have purchased them, and they are unraveling. I *think* Twins sells good ones.

I have a gimpy right ankle myself from kicking the bag incorrectly. Since my left ankle is fine, I wear both ankle supports on my right ankle. The extra compression provided is often enough to get me through my training without aggravating the injury. If I do "tweak" my ankle during training, what I do is put on the first ankle support, then wrap with athletic tape over the ankle supporter, then place the 2nd ankle support over it.

Thumbs up ankle exercise

something i found that has helped me with my ankles, is to let them hang of the end of your bed or somthing, and rotate your feet around till you feel the burn in your ankles and do it for awhile. do this off and on through out the week. i used to sprang my ankles all the time, but not no more. the muscle in my ankle protects me from sprangs and pain.
