There's the Wat Gym which charges $20 per class and has a well rounded program
There's the Church Street Gym team. They charge $200 per month and have an excellent competition team. There's a place on 28th street, but the teacher is an arrogant prick There is also www.elbowko.com at Renzo Academy. He's awesome also. Khun Kao can give you some more info on him. |

Khun Kao or DKM do you have any recommendations regarding either of these gyms or teachers?

I train in Queens right now, but due to my schedule change I will no longer be training in Queens. I am gonna join the WAT later this year once my schedule allows. So I recommend Kru Phil Nurse b/c the facility is great, price is good, variety of classes (i.e. pure boxing, pure clinching, MT for 6 ft or taller people, etc).

My personal recommendation is Master K. But I am openly biased because he is my Ajarn. You would not go wrong training with any of the ones I've listed. I know there are other MT schools in NYC, but I have not listed them primarily because I'm not famililar with them, not because I wouldn't recommend them.

I really want Muay Thai + BJJ more than anything, because I find them effective and thats what I want, so thanks to all of you, I'm going to check out Renzo Gracie's school and see about my training in BJJ and Muay Thai
Wish Me Luck..

Good Luck! Please give Renzo and Master K my regards. (don't remember if Renzo will necessarily remember me, but he and I teach each summer at seminar called "Karate College" in Radford, VA. Master K is my coach and he is the Muay Thai instructor at Renzo's)
