Default Congrats To Steve Rogerson

Congratulations to Steven Rogerson of Prestwich Thai Boxing Club who is now the ISKA North West Thai Boxing Champion.

On Saturday the 22nd of May at The Gladiators of Wirral International Championship Kickboxing Night England V Ireland @ The Tranmere Recreation Centre Borough Road, Birkenhead Steve Rogerson accepted the ISKA North West Thai Boxing Title at 78KG Max.

The Title fight was to be fought between Steven Rogerson of Prestwich Thai Boxing Club and John Davidson of Kirby Thai UK. At 10pm Steven Rogerson Walked to the ring followed by the corner crew of the Sitnarong Camp UK Master Sken Kru Richard Lewis reigning British Champion and student of Master Sken and Baz to name but a few all dedicated to Steven's efforts over the coming weeks towards this fight.

Steven Rogerson and Kru Richard Lewis trained harder and far longer than ever before to face the already defeated John Davidson from Kirby Thai who had faced Steven previously and been annihilated within the two rounds he faced Steven. The third was not to be and John Davidson of Kirby Thai faced defeat in the most un-traditional of Thai Boxing ways and threw in the towel

The ISKA North West title was vacant and all in the North West realized this and would not challenge the pride of Prestwich, one way or another the belt was to find it’s home there. John Davidson realizing his chance to face Steven again and having the added opportunity to win the much sought after North West Title proceeded to challenged Steven Rogerson to fight him for it, on the 22nd of May at the Gladiators show in Liverpool England.

Whilst all at Prestwich Thai Boxing club realize Steven’s nine year veteran service to our sport is not to be taken lightly, with such a good blood line of training from Kru Richard Lewis who was a direct student of Master Sken and part of the camp that deserves utmost respect that of Sitnarong.

At 10pm it was announced that John Davidson of Kirby Thai refused to fight Steven Rogerson on grounds of a sprained groin, under mixed feelings Steven Rogerson accepted the title and a presentation where the dedicated and respectful were proud to voice his name to all and boo the disrespectful and scared John Davidson of Kirby Thai. We later received a full apology from John Davidson’s training Corner to who we respect as their fighter actually admitted he “bottled it” To him we say “Never Challenge Steven Again” and under Steven’s title and the many more adorning the gym Prestwich rules as one of the toughest, most professional Thai Boxing Clubs in the North West and John Davidson of Kirby Thai should never be allowed to challenge the pride of Prestwich ever again. Steven Rogerson Beat you once and you challenge him again, only to chicken out!

“No shame in fearing defeat, shame in admitting defeat! John Davidson of Kirby Thai you should never step in the ring at 78 kg again out of respect for Sitnarong Steven Rogerson and Kru Richard Lewis”

Congratulations Steven from all at Home.

STEVO! STEVO! STEVO!
