"Anuwat Crowned Fighter of the year
Anuwat Keawsamrit just received a prestigious award for being the Best Muay Thai Fighter Anuwat Keawsamrit is an excellent fighter who has just received a prestigious award for being the Best Muay Thai Fighter of the Year 2003 by the press. He has won his last fight against Singdam Keatmoo9 who is the top-rank fighter and that victory has earn Anuwat this special award. This has made Anuwat the hottest fighter at the present. Everyone is wondering who is the most suitalbe to fight with Anuwat next. No one has yet come up with a name because it's very hard to find a challenger for Anuwat. The promoter of Anuwat, Mr. Chujarearn Raveearamwong who is the promoter of Ratchadamnern Stadium, said that he must think long and haard on who is suitable to fight with Anuwat. The fan and the press are all asking the same question which is who will be the lucky promoter to put Anuwat in his event and who will Anuwat fight with next. Mr. Chujarearn mention that there is a good possibility that Anuwat will compete with top fighter of Suk Wantongchai." You wont find a fighter of that caliber at siam no.1, or wmc. Only keawsamrit. Testament to the quality of keawsamrit. To put anuwats KO of singdam in perspective. Anuwat beat singdam, singdam beat the legendary fighter samkor... twice in a row!!! samkor has as been on the sene(sp?) for 10 years now, and has beaten everyone, arguably the best soulthpaw ever to fight in thailand. most recently samkor has beat, masatai kato, and kobeashi in japan. reviews: http://chokemuay.com/kaewsamritgym.htm http://www.chokemuay.com/forums/inde...&hl=keawsamrit |

Yeah I know that Keawsamrit is very good, but I got concerns about training in Bangkok for a longer period of time...otherwise I would be in the plane already... also I heard it to be quite expensive... that true? Have you trained there?
Thnx! |

Keawsamrit is slightly more expensive compared to your average thai gym, but it is equal or less than wmc, fairtex, sidyodthong, not shure about siam no.1. It is about 600 USD for a month. But when you realize that that does not just cover training, but food, and a place to stay, it is definatly not bad.
As for training in BKK. That can be bad because of the pollution, crowdedness. But keawsamrit is in a suburb outside of bangkok, with clean air to run in. But you are still close to the city so you can go in and watch fights at the big stadiums. |

My school fought some of the Siam #1 fighters a few years ago. I think they were mostly trained by Paul Minhas who has a place in Scarborough. If I were to move to Toronto I would probably go to Paul's place over Siam #1. (If you google his name the address comes up.)
I would also consider Matee Jedeepitakthe best southpaw to fight in Thailand. |
