Default Muay Thai Training Gear?

Hey all,

Im going off to college in a month and I've found a training partner to do MT with but I have very little gear. I know I need to get thai pads and gloves, but what kind of gloves work best for pad/bag work and light sparring, and where can I get good ones for not much money (seeing as how im a broke college kid)? Also, what are peoples thoughts on headgear or any other stuff? Thanks a lot

best gears need no payment to little payment
for kicks- use banana trees
for punches- use two lemons, strung from something, try to punch, elbow, and evade those two lemons
that should be all
