Ok I need some help in this area. I'm kinda assed out here in Tucson because there are no schools to train at, but am willing to go away to get certified. What I need to know is like are there possibly some schools here in AZ I am not aware of(don't tell me google either, cause there isn't anything on there). This is basically word of mouth kinda stuff. And what kind of costs do you guys pay for to be certified, what is the upkeep on your certification? General stuff like that. Please help if you can, and thank you very much for your help.

Muay Thai does not have a 'certification'. Some Muay Thai organizations may offer an instructors endorsement - but (god forbid) it isn't something you can buy.
Find a Muay Thai school and train for a few years. By the time you are ready to consider teaching, you won't have to ask where to get certified.

Oh for crying out loud... listen, you want certification? Save up just enough money to get to Thailand, find a camp that will train, house and feed you for free in exchange for you fighting for them regularly. Then when you have fought between 5 and 50 times move back home. THEN, when people start talking about Muay Thai certification you can say "I kicked the snot out of 23 thai fighters in Thailand... how many did you defeat?" There's your freaking certification.

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything. I needed some serious info. Saving and going to Thailand certainly would be an option, if I wasn't married, didn't work 50hrs aweek etc..and have other responsibilities. I'll figure something out.

Have you looked into Ajarn "Chai" Sirisute? I also saw on Master Toddy's website an instructors course.

Mr. Mavis is being sarcastic because Muay Thai is not a certification art its a results art. The only certification that really counts is "Can you do it?".
Ajarn Chai can provide a teaching certificate to his students if he chooses to do so, but you won't get it by calling him up and asking how much - or complaining about how busy you are. You might be allowed to test, when he says so, after training under him for some time and convincing him that you are competant.
