Alright, everyone in SLC and the surrounding areas get off the couch this weekend and support Ajarn Chai. Forum member Brian Yamasaki and Khru Wil Bernales are hosting Ajarn Chai this weekend (8/28 - 8/29/2004)
Ajarn Chai is the founder and president of the Thai Boxing Association, the oldest and largest Thai Boxing Organization in the United States to date. Ajarn Chai is sought after by many elite organizations and conducts seminars around the world. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to train with him here in the high altitude setting of Salt Lake City, Utah. Sorry, not my seminar.
And locally there have been multiple tv commercials for the seminar. This post was just meant to serve as a reminder.

Yeah, that's a great price. It's almost twice that here in Pittsburgh now, and it's been going up every year. We've missed seminar years twice due to just not having the cash.

Anyone interested in showing up at the last minute shouldn't worry too much about finding a spot. Brian has worked with the owners of "The Ultimate Combat Training Center" (Mike Steadham) to host the event at Mike's place (17,000 sq. feet).
The best Muay Thai and MMA guys in the state will be there.

Hey DJ ColdFusion,
Thanks for the write up and support. It's going to be a great time. Not only are we going to have Ajarn Surachai Sirisute and Khuen Khru Will Bernales (who, just last week earned his Black Belt under Professor Pedro Sauer) under the same roof at the same time, but Saturday night there are going to be some awesome fights. Brandon Kiser will be fighting his third consecuative NHB fight this weekend as he moves ever closer to the Utah State Finals at the Ulitmate Combat Experience. Trevor Osborn (Current Ultimate Combat Experience Champ... Round X) will be throwing down with Brandon Fitzgerald (Former Ultimate Combat Experience Champ... Round 9) to determine who gets the first spot for the finals at the E-Center (possibly to face Brandon Kiser). All that coupled with the fact that there are going to be a bunch of TBA folks coming in from out of town (Colorado, and Las Vegas so far) as well as some local fighters (Brandon Kiser, Trevor Osborn, Dustin Gapusan, Johnny Richie and possibly Steven Sharp and Salvador Sanchez and more) is going to amount to one Hell of a fun weekend. And if you're not a fighter, don't hesitate to come out and check things out. There are pleanty of people who just enjoy the art who are coming out to learn from Ajarn. I have a student who last year, Ajarn gave the pet name "Choco-Late" who is comming back for her second year and she has no plans of ever fighting. She just comes out and has a blast along with the rest of us... "She's just so darn sweet" If price is a issue, give me a call and I'll see what we can work out. We can definitely give group discounts if you're brining in a couple of friends. Take care everyone and keep in touch. I missed you all at Thai Camp this year. I hear Khuen Khru Trigg and Khuen Khru Nelson gave out some killer material. Hopefully, I'll be able to sneak a little of that stuff out of Ajarn while he is here in Utah. See you all there, b. www.mushinselfdefense.com
