Some stationary pole-bags can be found at the fairtex camp's online store...just go to their on-line website and you can find a link...their stuff's some of the best stateside. |

![]() | There are endless variations on the heavy-bag, and numerous drills requiring height adjustment of swinging bags. To do the up/down, for instance, you want your bag actually hanging at about a 45-degree angle, dragging the floor, so you can kick up under the bag (thigh bicep) then down-kick the top of the bag (quadricep). For power development you will want the bag to drag also, so you have to push it through the bottom of the arc with your pivot. Pole bags are nice, the best being the pear-shaped ones that weigh about 250 pounds. Good luck finding one of those Many schools in Thailand have a set of S-hooks, varying in length from about 8" to 24", and depending on the drill the student/fighter will use the appropriate hook to hang the bag. |
