Default K-1 Dream Match

I'd like to see Cung Le go up against Buakaw "Por Pramuk" of Thailand. I believe both men are undefeated in the ring as of late. In that fight, I'll put my money on Buakaw, but I'm sure Cung Le would give him a very tough fight with his boxing skills and special throws.

Interesting but unlikely

Le only fights under San Shou... and is much heavier than Por.Puramuk

That's why I call it a "dream" match. Perhaps someday they'll be allowed to be pitted against each other in the ring, though. I've heard that Buakaw has an extremely rigorous training regimen, and is currently undefeated in K-1. The same can be said for Cung Le. It would be a treat to see these two men duke it out against each other!

Are you a guy or a gal? Come see him in action instead at his Bay Area gym.

the only reason cung le is undefeated is because no one else in K-1 plays his game. they occasionally throw him some sap who has no idea of the rules, but he won't step up to a kickboxing format, and no one big in K-1 wants to fight in a match that works the way san shou does. I think he either needs to enter K-1 properly or MMA before the head honchos start to take him seriously.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I think Le needs to step up, although I have nothing against San Shou itself.

He also trains like a madman, and I don't think I've ever seen him step in the ring in anything less than top condition.

That said, it would be nice to see how well that skill carried over when the rules weren't as familiar. As long as he competes in major shows under a different set of rules than the rest of the field, people will always wonder if he's really a great fighter, or if he's just good at his own game.
Don't get me wrong, I hold his skills in the upmost regard, but I would like to see how he fares with the K-1 regulars.

There was this documentary on some cable channel about Chinese martial arts and there was a good 10 minute segment on Cung Le. They showed some of his workouts; he would do all kinds of laps around the track, run back ward, skipping, skipping side to side, then carry his 200+ pound coach for a 50 yard sprint.

It was awesome. Made you want to go out and workout yourself.

I'm a guy LOL wtf!?!? I was just simply asking if there are any highlight vids of this fighter I haven't seen fight. U know ... learning vicariously (www.dictionary.com if you need a definition for that word ).

I'd come down to your Bay Area gym but I'm unfortunately from far away.
