I just joined a class that teaches BJJ, JKD, and Muay Thai. I had a little TKD training when I was younger, and its been awhile since I've had any training. My question is, would Muay Thai be a bad choice to join into if I havent had training in awhile? The teacher seems to think that BJJ or JKD would be a better class to take because "MT does hardcore training". But this is what I was looking for. Plus I like the elements of MT.
But it seems that some guy got to join the class last night. My first time seeing him, and the MT teacher was working with him and taking it easy on him in the class. And from the looks of it, seems like he hasnt had any training in the past or present... Anyhoots, whats your guys take on my question?? |

Your right, but out of respect. And seeing he has experiance, I figured I'd take his advice and get in shape in the JKD then switch over. But the thing is, I dont know how many students they take in each class. But I know he said he likes a limit of 10 in his JKD and BJJ class. I'd have to talk to the Muay Thai instructor to see how many students he allows. Most of them hardly show up every week anyway. There's only like 3 that are there pretty much every week. 1 guy, and 2 gals. Plus instructor. |
