Where in Michigan are you from Enzo? I am from Michigan too and have moved a couple times and have had to look around a lot. If you can give an idea of what area/part of the state, I can probably help.

Default Warrior Way - Matee

If you're in Metro Detroit area then Warrior Way in Walled Lake (48390) training with Lumpinee Stadium Champion Matee Jedeepitak is the way to go. www.warriorway.com.

We've had people come in from far and wide so even if you have to drive it's worth it. Feel free to shoot me any questions if you want - matt at nerdstuff dot net if my direct e-mail...

Real Muay Thai. We just got a full ring up and installed. Awesome!

Matt

We've got people regularly traveling that far. Worth a shot. Monday and Wednesday classes are pretty late (start at 8) so you're going to miss a lot of the aggrevating traffic, and Saturday classes are long (2 - 3:30, some sparring afterwards) so that would make it worth your while. Matee gets back from his trip to Thailand tomorrow (Tue 3/15)...

Thumbs up

I go to Coopers Muay Thai and Institute of Martial Arts. It is just off of Southfield (M-39) on Warren. We have classes everday except Sunday at many different times so it is easy to fit into any schedule. Good training too, we just had a guy pick up another belt. WKA this time. You could call 313-581-5085 to see if there is room and schedule an interview.

Default Bma

There is also a gym in Belleville Michigan, which is run by "Boots" Cooper. That is where I have been training recently. They offer thaiboxing, bjj, mma, and childrens karate. We have a very active team, so anyone looking to compete would get a lot of ring time here. Of course, you can just come to train and get into shape and learn to defend yourself too, so don't think that you have to fight.

It's a great group, with a very friendly atmosphere, and hard training people. online at bellevillemartialarts.org or call 734-699-7850.
