Default How would you handle this situation?

Well.. say you were swarmed with a combo of offensive attacks. Your getting hit everywhere, starting to get dizzy. What do you do if your pressed onto defense like that?

Depends on the range. If I'm close enough, I'd probably try to pull Prummb. If not, maybe use footwork to move out of the way long enough to launch a counter attack.

Hit back!

Don't think about it too hard, your higher functions won't give you the performance you're used to.

I'd try to get into a clinch, and if that didnt work I would politely ask him to please quit....jk....i was told to get them in a clinch and put your bodyweight on them, to wear them down while delivering a few well place knees

This has happened to me twice in ring fights; which I'm sure was an indication that I was close to getting tko'd or ko'd What I did was cover up and weather the storm until I felt "ok" again and hit back! You can say what you want about trying some fancy countering technique but when you're feeling dizzy, seeing only bright white it's unlikely you'll be accustomed to fighting. By the way, I won both of those fights; the first one was against a strong boxer in a fight with no knees(first and last time ever), and the second was a guy that landed a very hard rabid punch on me and another punch around my right ear which I felt on my left ear(weird!).
I trained with someone once that did something that might prepare any of you for this kind of situation. It's very simple, you spin around in circles..lets say 10-15 circles very fast until you feel dizzy and can't see straight and than immediately get into a fighting pose/stance and throw some combinations/countering techniques. This doesn't duplicate the exact feeling of about to be ko'd/tko'd by someone that landed a good shot or combination on you since you sometimes see "stars" or just that seering bright white light that blinds you! I would highly suggest using this kind of training because it actually does work somewhat by getting you used to fighting dizzy.

I picked Grapple, although it would be more of a slam, Double leg slam is my favorite and is effective against people just throwing frantic combos. Whether your in the ring, or just fighting, hurts like a motherfucker, plus then I can just start kicking them in the head, if its someone I cant pick up, just clinch, and start throwing knees.

Are you talking about spearing from the double-leg?

Yes, that's a really good technique. Your shoot attempt has to get really deep penetration to spear. Against an untrained grappler who stands high, and weighs less or the same, you could probably even muscle it without a decent shoot.

Hmmm although I like the spear and think it would work, I dont like the position that puts me in, as it will generally land me in their gaurd.

What I was talking about is you shoot inand grab both their legs, then lift up and slam them, hmm now that I think about it , it is popular in the UFC as a takedown with some of the better guys.

Watch Tito Ortiz vs Evan Tanner to see what Im talking about if you can get ahold of that.

Its like actually lifting them up , then slamming them, I'm fairly strong so its not that hard to do to most people who dont know how to grapple, or throw knees haha. Oh well one knee doesnt hurt that much.

Plus after this your standing and they are on the ground allowing you to either run, or stomp/soccer kick.
