It should be a great time... I'm really looking forward to it. I've met Saekson a few times before, and in fact he "substituted" for Matee teaching our class a few times in February, but this will be my first time meeting Pongsan and Kansak.

Hi all, I've been a student at Warrior Way (Matee) since July. Thus far I've only done the Muay Thai but I've stayed around and watched a lot of the BJJ and it's also excellent. Back in late 2004 they added a ton of classes so there are like 8 Muay Thai classes a week now, which is just super exciting. There are a similar amount of BJJ classes per week, it's just a great place to train, I would really recommend it. People are regularly coming in from other states and since we're so close to Canada, other countries to get some training. I would highly recommend it. Swing by and say hi.
This is our first Muay Thai seminar (they do the BJJ ones with Professor Caique regularly) but most certainly not the last. In February Warrior Way purchased a full sized ring and expanded to quite a few more square feet, so this event is going to "christen" in the ring. We're very excited about it. I'll be sure to let everyone know when the next one is. I will probably also be videotaping the smoker so I'll be sure to give you all a link when it's over. |
